Ransyoutei has been forgotten and abandoned. We should revive it.

Now it is going to be destroyed by a developer.

What is Ransyoutei?

Ransyousei is a historic garden located in Yanagiwara Aizuwakamatsu city.

In the mid-16th century a samurai clan named Nagao came from Echigo(Niigata pref.). They had kept residence in the place where the Ransyoutei garden exists now. They made the original garden.

In the end of 17th century Daimyo Matsudaira remade the garden. From at that time, Ransyoutei had been used as the garden of the lord.

After Boshin War Ransyoutei was owned by many riches in sequence. Every owner wanted to keep it beautiful, but sometime it was difficult.

The garden has been forgotten and abandoned. Then it is going to be destroyed by a developer now.

We should revive it. Let us save Ransyoutei!
